Baryic Hunter

Assistant Chief, Field Operations North

Baryic Hunter is assigned as the Assistant Chief of Field Operations for the North region. Previously, Chief Hunter served as the Division Chief of Division 5, overseeing the cities of Aliso Viejo, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, and unincorporated areas of Orange County. Chief Hunter has over 28 years of experience in the fire service, progressing through the ranks of Firefighter/Paramedic, Fire Captain, Battalion Chief, Division Chief, and Assistant Chief of Field Operations. Throughout his tenure, Chief Hunter has served in a variety of assignments, including Staffing, Community Volunteer Services, Director of Emergency Services, CAL FIRE Incident Management Team 5, and OCFA’s All-Hazard Incident Management Team.
