Investigation Services
The Investigation Services Section conducts fire investigations to determine their cause and follows up on investigations for criminal fires. This section also manages the Fire F.R.I.E.N.D.S. diversion program for juvenile-related fires.

Planning and Developement
The Planning and Development Services Section works with developers, architects, and engineers to meet fire protection and life-safety requirements for buildings and developments. OCFA evaluates these projects through plan reviews and inspections, ensuring compliance with fire codes and safety standards.
